Since I had a couple of build issues with my Gray Haven project I tried to get re-motivated by working on something else the past few weeks. I flipped on over to my post- apocalyptic Car Wars/ Axles and Alloys/ Road Rage/ Machinas car combat project. I finished up a few more cars, and my daughter did one too. First up is hers:

| My baby girls first ride. Too bad they don't come this way in real life. |
This is one of those cars from the Testors Overdrive Arena Game. I got the game for a steal, the rules seem decent so it might get playtime also. Anyway, she did all the painting with a little help and my airbrush. The weathering, decals, and shading are all her. The decals are temporary tatoos, also her idea. She and I are very proud of her first serious step into the world of miniatures. Now to crush this thing in the arena...
I'm not sure if thing would even move, but heck its still pretty cool. I love the way the salt rust effects turned out. I might add an ammo box to the backseat to fill in the open space.
Six wheels- because it was a challenge! I loved the way this one came out, even though I wanted to salt rust it. I got ahead of myself in painting it. Oh Well...
This car is the only one I named so far. Machine Gun Kelly. I don't know why, it just came to me...
The hood guns are 30cals from a ME 262 model.
I tried to give this Vette a more futuristic, Car Wars production model look. High tech defensive weapons and only one laser-looking offensive weapon hints at SERE. I might do some work on the wheels; I love the armored hubs, but when I test fit them they sat further in the wheel wells. the axle made them stick out further than I like.
This is the group so far. There will be more... and motorcycles! (hopefully)
