Car Wars Police Interceptor

The finished Police Interceptor.

This car was inspired by this entry in the Car Wars supplement "Midville- The Toughest Little Town in America":
I don't know why, but this has always been in my mind as a car I wanted to model someday. My version is based off of a Viper (Disney version, lol) that I purchased at a Goodwill store. I left off the extra tires, but tried to represent everything else. The armor, weapon housing and wheel hubs are sculpted. The lights are smooth red craft gems. I painted it to look like its come back from a tough night on patrol, but not on purpose. It's helping camouflage my horrid sculpting skills. I still need to find a suitable door decal (or paint my own) and I plan on re-painting the lettering. Dry rub transfers are not your friend on anything that's not flat. I'm pleased with it, and it has spurred me into sculpting and casting the patrol cars in the future.
