You can see the middle board has some curbs and drains going in, the far board has just had its streets paved.
I had a corner that was a bit too small for a building, So I created a simple grassy knoll to fill in.
I added a not yet finished Plasticville Post Office to be used as a... post office!
And then finally the almost finished first board with all its building elements in place...
Till next time,
Papa Spanky
Looking good, It's nice to see a normal environment to play a game in. Moon bases are cool, and a shattered volcanic realm can be exciting, but when it comes down to it these settings are limited in what you can play on them and have it still make sense. A nice little section of town can be way more versatile. Kudos this really is a great project.
ReplyDeleteI agree. As I'm finding out, however, is that moon bases and volcanoes are far easier to make!
DeleteI have loads of those Plasticville and K-Line buildings and they work nicely, good progress sir!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I got a bunch from a railroad re-seller. He would buy bulk at estate sales keep what he wanted and GIVE what he called junk to me.
DeleteVery nice so far, I need to get me some of these Plasticville buildings they look rather damn good
ReplyDeleteGet em while you can, the prices keep on going up...
DeleteExcellent I didn't knew you had a blog! I have seen the progress of the board on laf but found your blog through the sippinonpaintwater blog. The boards look really good especially the concrete and grass patch!
