Car Wars for the Girls

After our Easter Axles and Alloys  game, my other kids decided they wanted their own cars.

My daughter Allison loves pickup trucks and the color purple, so I whipped up this one for her. The truck is a 1:43 slot car that was clearance at Hobby Lobby. The weapons are form Testors Overdrive arena, the armor plate is Apoxie sculpt.

Elise wanted a pink Monster High car...(*sigh*) the things we do for our children. Really this was fun, she took a lot of interest in the build and directed the paint job. This is the other car from the Overdrive Arena boxed set, with all the stock armor that comes with it.

Now we need another battle; maybe try out another rule set...

Post your reaction,
Papa Spanky

  1. Both are cool, but I really like the pink car for some reason. The girly skull is a nice touch. I'll have to investigate Overdrive Arena.

    1. Its a so-so game, but the models and accessories are decent if not limited, and can be found for cheap on online. Dont spend alot on the rules though...
